How Many CoolSculpting Sessions Are Needed? in Coolsculpting.

CoolSculpting is a noninvasive procedure that uses innovative technology to eliminate fat cells by freezing them away. The procedure can dramatically reduce the number of fat cells in the treated area – and unlike liposuction, CoolSculpting requires no surgery and no downtime.

During a CoolSculpting treatment, an applicator delivers precise internal cooling to targeted areas of underlying fat while leaving the skin and other surrounding tissue unaffected. It can be used to treat stubborn fat on areas such as the abdomen, sides, back, upper arms, inner and outer thighs, knees, and chin.

When the fat cells are exposed to controlled cooling, it triggers a process of natural cell death. As the fat cells die, they are then naturally eliminated by the body. CoolSculpting is a safe procedure, and you can start to see the results as soon as 1-3 months post-treatment.

How Many Treatments Will I Need?

The number of CoolSculpting sessions required will vary depending on your desired results and the amount of fat cells in the target area. On average, one to three treatment sessions are required per area treated. Although CoolSculpting will not help you lose weight, it can naturally reduce the number of fat cells in the target area by up to 24%, making it appear as if you have lost weight by visibly improving the shape of your body.

For some people, one CoolSculpting treatment may be all that is necessary. But if you have a number of areas of stubborn fat, multiple treatments may be required to achieve your ideal results. Because the procedure promotes a natural bodily response to eliminating fat, it is safe to have multiple treatments.

How Long Does a Treatment Session Take?

Each CoolSculpting treatment[MOU1]  session is different, and it depends on the size and location of the targeted area to be treated. On average, a treatment can be carried out in as little as 35 minutes, but it will take longer for multiple or larger areas.

How Often Should I Have CoolSculpting Treatments?

It is best to wait a minimum of 30 days between treatments. Because CoolSculpting relies on your body’s own ability to eliminate the fat cells, treatments should ideally be performed several months apart in order to allow the body enough time to react naturally to the treatment and to dispose of the fat cells successfully.
