Pixel® RF is an FDA-approved fractional resurfacing laser that uses a proprietary technology called InMotion Refractive Radiofrequency Micro Plasma Technology to gently heat the skin to remove acne scars, shrink pores, reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and clear visible blemishes.
Pixel RF both ablates and heats the skin through the controlled, focused delivery of radiofrequency energy. Healthy skin around the treated area helps to accelerate the healing process, thus improving results and minimizing downtime.
What is Pixel® RF?
Pixel RF is a fractionated skin resurfacing procedure that is safe for all skin types. Since radiofrequency energy does not harm the outer layer of skin, the healing time is faster than with traditional CO2 lasers. Whereas traditional resurfacing lasers target the entire skin surface, fractional lasers only target small areas of the skin.

How does Pixel® RF work?
The microplasma technology creates numerous microscopic wounds within the treatment area. As these wounds heal, they stimulate the growth of new collagen, which tightens and smooths the skin's surface. During the procedure, only a small area of skin is treated while the surrounding tissue helps the treated skin heal. There is little to no downtime or discomfort involved.
We recommend anywhere from 1 to 4 treatments every four weeks. Most patients achieve optimal results within 2 to 3 months.
